Elsie Johns came from Wales to help plant the first dogwood tree in a park designed by Rosies in St. Albans, WV on July 6. Elsie worked in a factory in London during the war, er son. We gave Ceryl an award for his model work with us from North Carolina. The child was a dancer in a Rosie the Riveter routine, July 6, 2011. Elsie died in October, 2012.
The Embassy of the Netherlands in Washington planted this dogwood tree at the same moment Rosies were planting a dogwood tree at the National Liberation Museum, 1944-45, in Groesbeek, Netherlands, on May 8, 2015.
